About The Vests

  • Sizing

    Our goal is for a child to get a minimum of 2 years out of their vest before they hand it down to a sibling or cousin. We recommend starting with the vest a little baggy (think of them wearing it over a sweatshirt), then as they grow they can wear it with a button-up shirt.

  • Cleaning

    We understand how grubby kids can get when they are playing, this is why we use finished leathers that can easily be wiped down with a damp cloth. Although they are convenient we DON"T recommend using baby wipes to clean leather as they have preservatives that break down the leather's protective coating.

  • How To Choose

    We make the vests in small batch which means we are often changing which designs are available. Over the years though we have found that girls seem to prefer fringe while boys like the applique art.
