Similar to the Athena in drape and design the Calypso is the perfect addition to almost any outfit. You can wear it casually with jeans and a tee or you can pop a collared shirt under it and wear it with a blazer to work. The Calypso is sure to upgrade any wardrobe.

Note: Bustier women tend to like the fit of the Calypso over the Athena

Sizing

Small is designed to fit a size 2 to size 6

Medium/Chesty is best for women size 8 to size 10 or shorter women with bigger chests

Large is designed to fit size 12 to size 14

X-Large is designed to fit size 16 to 18

There is variation in sizing depending on body shape and height.

Why We Made The Calypso

After designing the Athena and trying it on many different bodies we realized we needed to create something equally as flattering for large chested women. By keeping the neckline more open and only weaving the leather a single time, the Calypso provides more room and movement for those that need it. All the same styling possibilities as the Athena but now for more body types.

How To Style

Wear it with jeans and simply layer it over a tanktop or tee

Style it over a dress or wear it with a blouse and pop the collar through the neck of the Athena

Boots and a blazer are always a great way to style it for fall

Caring For Your Calypso

Breaking It In
The leather we use for the Calypso is more supple than what we use for the Athena so you might find it doesn't really require a break in period. However, the more you wear it the more it will mould to your body as your body heat will help relax the leather.
Storing and Travelling
Keep it on a hangar and out of sunlight whenever possible. Place your Calypso in your Thistle dust bag, flat and on top of the your suitcase to avoid wrinkling,. When you arrive at your destination hang it on hangar or loop the collar over a door knob to allow it hang.
Cleaning and Steaming
If you get make-up on the collar of your Calypso the best way to remove it is to use a gentle, water-based leather cleaner or a small amount of mild, diluted dish soap on a damp microfibre cloth. You can gently steam the backside of the leather with a clothes steamer to straighten the leather out if it has become wrinkled.
